We had three athletes compete this year. The second year the association qualifier was held at University of Illinois.

Sunday, June 25th
We want to congratulate the following athletes who competed today.

Let’s give it up for two time USATF Illinois state champion Khalil Gborigi for clinching the first place championship titles in the 11-12 Boys Long Jump and Turbo Javelin and took sixth in the 1500m Run with a 20 second personal record. Khalil will advance to the USA TF Regional meet in all three events.

Congratulations to our youngest runner, Caden Benzon, who clinched third place in the eight and under 400 m dash running 1:30.49. Caden will advance to the regional meet.

Grant Van Meter advances in his second event and picks up another third place medal in the 15-16 Boys Discus Throw with a throw of 94 feet.

Saturday, June 24th
Congratulations to Grant Van Meter for clinching third place in the 15-16 Boys shot put. Grant set a new personal record (37-9.35, 11.51m) and advances to the USATF Regional Championships in July.
