Grant punches his second ticket to the USATF National when he placed 2nd in Shot Put. Today’s throw of 38-6.50 (11.75m) at the USATF Region 7 Qualifier was a new personal record and broke a five year old Rush Athletics USA club record held by Rush Alumni Owen English (28-8.50). Not to mention, Grant also holds the 600G Javelin throwing 104 feet.

We congratulate you Grant for qualifying for TWO National track and field events: AAU Junior Olympics (shot put, discus, javelin) and USATF Nationals (shot put and javelin). We are very proud of your accomplishments.
